Le Parasol Blanc Hotel occupies a large mature garden with a small lake shaded by large trees and tall palms in a residential area at the outskirts of the UNESCO Heritage protected area. This heritage protection ensures that the peaceful and historic surroundings will be maintained for the future, and has required the hotel to be built and maintained to rigorous standards.
In the airy reception, floor to ceiling windows highlight the setting in the heart of greenery. Bamboo furniture with Lao cotton upholstery completes the comfortable ambiance. Guests can take a short stroll along winding paths to the lakeside restaurant to enjoy breakfast, all day snacks, drinks and dinner in the open air or on the shaded terrace.
Le Parasol Blanc’s guests are welcome to use the swimming pool in the sister Mouang Luang Hotel. Shuttle transfers can be arranged into the town centre at any time and the drive to the airport takes about 20 minutes.
ACCOMMODATION:
Standard:
 Guest rooms are in 2-storey wings finished with traditional Lao style pitched, natural wooden roof tiles, wooden carved balustrades and decorative roof finials. Set amongst the tall palm trees, these white buildings give the feeling of temple roofs glimpsed against the sky. The comfortably furnished rooms all have a private balcony or terrace with seating, in many rooms looking towards the shaded green garden and small lake. With gleaming wooden floors and substantial wooden furniture, and decorated with traditional prints and richly coloured rugs, the rooms enjoy natural sunlight from large balcony windows. The bathrooms are entirely finished in marble.
Deluxe Rooms are decorated to a higher standard and have similar facilities as Standard Rooms.

During the high season (October until Lao New Year in April) daily evening performance of elegant traditional Lao dance and music, the gentle tones of Lao xylophones and reed pipes permeate the tranquil air. Guests at Le Parasol Blanc are welcome to use the swimming pool in the sister Mouang Luang Hotel.
